I've been slack, but I just finished 30 minutes of :exercise: using Kathy Smith's Matrix Method Power Walk for Weight Loss.
Whew. Now to clean my hardwood floors! |
I'm off to power walk in the pool for 30 minutes. That will help me catch up a bit.

Boy have I fallen off the wagon. I exercised the first two days then quit. I have been busy cleaning, doing projects around the house, and running errands. I'm seriously out of the habit of exercising. I'm not sure how to motivate myself, but I know I have to.

Well, even though I'm behind in the goal I set for myself, Sloanie, I found it helpful to have this challenge nagging at me a bit.

You're right. At least the challenge makes me plan. Maybe I'll eventually follow through.

I was in the pool for an hour and 45 minutes today. At least 30 minutes was power walking. The rest was moving. I'm happy.

I walked my little legs off today in the Great Indoors and the Design Expo. Then we had lunch at Sweet Tomatoes....and awesome chain with the best salad bar I'd ever had. My salad was almost completely Core including FF honey dijon dressing. I splurged on a tiny cherry nut muffin and had some outstanding soup....split pea with potato and barley. How Core and filling can you get?

Well, I totally flopped on the challenge this week. But, YAHOO, my pool is clean and ready to swim in. Now at least I can swim to get exercise and that doesn't bother my knee at all.

I didn't do the DVD but I did walk lots even though it was a day that I don't normally walk much!
