I'm Quitting WW!!
 

That's right chickies, you heard me...I'm quitting! Actually, I'm getting kicked out. ;)

We haven't even told anyone yet, but I just had to tell you all!!! :preg: I just found out on Tuesday. I go to the doctor on Wednesday. I wanted to lose more weight before I got pregnant, but I will settle with 11! :D We are so excited!

:D Thank you all!! It really hasn't sunk in yet. And of course I'll stay around Vickie!! You know I can't go. Plus I'm still going to try to follow a core-like way of eating (well, low GI) due to my predisposition to gestational diabetes (PCOS makes me more vulnerable). So I'll still be watching what I eat.
It's just so unbelievable, I keep feeling like it's not real. But I don't think 5 pregnancy tests lie! :lol:

We're telling our parents tonight!! We took the picture of the pregnancy test and bought picture frames. We're going to tell them it's an early mother's day gift. :D

It went really well telling our parents last night. They were so excited. It's still so overwhelming. Now I'm just trying not to worry that something will go wrong. I'm just trusting God!!

OHMYGOODNESS - just got back last night - checked the site this afternoon and I see Melissa is QUITTING! but for a very very good reason!:carrot: :carrot:

CONGRATULATIONS! to you and Aaron - what wonderful, fabulous news - we will of course need to be kept informed every step of the way!

Just do the best you can and eat whatever is healthiest for baby (I had gestational DB with 1st and it can be managed). Wishing you a safe and problem free pregnancy!:hug:

Hey I just thought I'd tell you all that I had my first ultrasound today and that all looks well!! The tech said, however, that I'm not as far along as we thought so my new due date is Christmas Eve!! :tree: What a gift!
We saw the heart beating and it was just amazing.

Totally off topic...

I thought it was possible tod do CORE and be pregnant cos the food was so filling and nutrious such as the brown rice and whole grains..Am i right in saying this?

Well if you think about it the Core food list is the perfect foods you should be eating while prego(fruits,veggies,whole grain)But being pregnant is not the time to do any diet.I wouldnt be surprised if thats what she ate she would probably just gain fluids more than fat.My Dr told me not to gain more than 10-15...umm how about 46lbs? LOL I wish I ate better I guess I thought being pregnant was a free for all.I had weekyl cravings for chocolate milkshakes..tsk tsk!
