Core and Passover
 

Help! Passover starts Monday night and I can't decide what to do. Should I stay on Core and try to use WPAs for matzoh or switch to Flex for the next week? What are ya'll doing?

Here I am - to answer your question.

Do you normally eat bread on core and count the points? If so you can just convert the points to the matza you will eat.

Otherwise core can easily be followed on passover - as you are mostly eating proteins/veggies/fruits - no different except for the lack of grains - I find I do eat more potatoes and eggs during passover than otherwise.

I do plan to eat matzo this week - but honestly after a few days I do get 'tired' of it anyways. The worst problem is my bday is during Passover this year - so I get stuck with a passover cake - altho there are much better than they were years ago!

Thanks so much for the response- you've given me some great ideas!

I do splendidly on WW until a special occasion comes along like a holiday or a banquet...then I just freak in anticipation of not being able to stay with the program...and it turns into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Tonight I made matzo ball soup and counted points. I'm planning lots of salads and fruit plates.

Anybody have a macaroon recipe using Splenda? :)
