This is one of my favorite spreads to eat. I love it in peanut butter sandwiches, on toast, on waffles - oh wait, nothing that's Core! But this spread is Core. What Core thing could we eat it on? Creative people??

Apple Butter

Serving Size : 7

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 quart unsweetened applesauce
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
2 packages Splenda -- optional

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer over low heat for 1 hour.

I would use it smothered on pork chops---cooked on as you would bbq sauce
