Hi Girls
So, I had always considered myself slightly pear-shaped, since I have never had lean thighs. They have always been fat. Overall, I have been pretty fortunate to being close to hourglass. As I have lost weight, I have lost lots from my waist, and I look more hourglass from the front.
But from the side I still have a pretty large stomach, especially from the side. My waist to hip ratio is .82, so I'm considered an apple. And I KNOW this is better than it used to be, when I was more heavy.
Is it possible that being overweight has permanently changed my body shape? I am only 24, and I have not had any kids yet. I had hoped I wouldn't be dealing with a disproportionate stomach right now.
I hear over and over again people saying that your general shape stays the same, no matter what size you are. But what has been your experience? Has your shape stayed the same?
