  • I'm down another 4.8 this week! How is everyone else doing?
  • Good for you! That's quite a loss!

I lost 3 lbs this week - YAY!
  • Great job, you guys! I lost 3 pounds too!

I posted this in the WW forum but I'll post it here too so I can share my joy:

I'm down to 233, for a total loss of 42 pounds!! More people are starting to notice, and I feel great!

Today is the official weigh-in day for my first mini-goal -- I was supposed to lose 28 pounds by today, and I've lost 42! I'm already halfway to my 2nd mini-goal. Part of that is because I lost 11 pounds the first week, but I'm so glad I've stayed ahead the whole time -- it really helped to motivate me. Even though I still weigh a LOT, I feel so different already. My face looks different, and I can feel a collarbone for the first time in ages!
  • Wow, congrats to all of you! Those are HUGE HUGE losses.. I'm definitely jealous!! I don't weigh until Thursday.. but it's looking to be a good one

  • Lisa - That's amazing! WTG! I can imagine that you must be looking quite different - it's so nice when people notice too! I've noticed my face looks thinner, and my DH says I look thinner all round (as do my sisters & mom) but I really don't see it yet. Hopefully it will be more obvious when I get closer to that 50 lb number like you are!
  • That was scary...
Monday was up 1 whole lb, Tuesday was up .5lb. Was really hoping my TOM was here because it couldnt be anything else.
But this morning I'm down 3lbs. Not sure what's up with that.
    I know, I know...stop weigh everyday!!
  • Woot! Down 1.4 lbs from Saturday!
  • Weigh to go people!!!
    I'm down 2 lbs.
    woo hoo

    lets keep goin!!

  • Justwill - I weigh every day too. I don't really see anything wrong with it, as long as you don't let the fluctuations bother you - I just like keeping track and seeing how different things affect my weight. I know what you mean about TOM, I usually gain like 3-4 lbs! It's gone soon after though.
  • Ladies....I just want to say that we rock!

For the daily weighers...A client of mine (who has lost 90+ pounds) has lost her last 35 pounds working with a body building trainer. What they suggested was a daily weigh-in and at the end of the week to take an average of the weights to get your weight for the week. By doing this the ups and downs are accounted for.
I've thought about doing this because my weight fluctuates a lot during the course of a week...and I'm an obsessive weigher anyway .

I'm gonna try this for next week.

    ciao

  • Good job guys! And to add my two cents...I weigh every day also - not so much to see how much I've lost, but to keep an eye out for weight gains. If I go up a little one day then I exercise a little more that day or eat a little less (actually I believe it's eat a little better!).
  • With LOTS of hard work, and watching the types of food I was putting in my mouth I lost 6 pounds this week. It seems crazy high, but after being stuck at that weight since Sept, it was nice to see a jump.

  • Go Aimee!!!
    Good for you! that's awesome!
It's so nice to get over a plateau.
  • Aimee!!!
  • Wow Aimee--that's so great!!
