Shake your Groove thing 9/18 - 9/24

  • Ok, so we all know that we should be exercising, but it doesn't always get done! Let's get accountable with our exercise and get things moving!!!

    9/18: 45 min water aerobics
    9/19: None
    9/20: 45 min water aerobics & 30 min water step intervals
    9/21: 20 min walk
    9/22: none
    9/23: 30 min cardio (8 min ellptical, 7 min NuStep, 15 min treadmill)
    9/24: None
  • Yesterday I went for a 2 mile walk.

    9/18: 45 min weights, 30 min treadmill
    9/19: None
    9/20: 45 min treadmill, 15 min weights
    9/21: 1 hr walk with the dog
    9/22: 45 min treadmill, 20 min weights
    9/23: none
    9/24: 45 min treadmill, 30 min weights
  • Trailed off
    Sept 18 - Wallked 2.4 miles
    Sept 19 - walked 3.5 miles
    Sept 20 - no walk
    Sept 21 - no walk
    Sept 22 - a late night stroll with Husband around the neighborhood

    This morning I weighed and the scale moved down 2 lbs
  • I already post in the Exercise Accountability Thread in the Exercise Forum, but I like the idea of posting here too. I'm all about accountability to keep me on track!

    9/18: nothing (planned day off)
    9/19: 48 min. treadmill walk
    9/20: 20 min. elliptical; 30 min. Walk/Jog DVD
    9/21: 48 min. treadmill walk
    9/22: 2 mile walk video
    9/23: 60 min. walk/jog
    9/24: 4-mile walk DVD; 30 min. strength training (upper body, abs)
  • Ok for last week:

    I went to the gym on Tuesday
    23 minutes on elliptical for fat burning mode
    lifted upper and lower body weights

    I went back on Thursday
    25 minutes on the elliptical in fat burning mode
    Lifted upper and lower body
    walked in the pool for 20 minutes

    I realized how much better I feel with exercise. Today I think I will go to the art district and look around. This will help me get in a walk. I will probably have beef broth and rice for lunch.
