On Purple Plan but need advice

  • Hello...

I am on the purple plan but not sure if I will do the lites or not...if I don't do the lites then how much more would I eat to makeup for not doing the bars.

    Thanks!
  • If you tell your center you are not going to do the Lites, they should move you up one plan. You would then be on red.
  • Cassi's right - I was on purple and stopped doing the lites - they bumped me up to red, which is one starch and 1/2 protien more per day....
  • I was also on purple to start and then decided after the first box of lites that I wasn't going to do them. They put me up on Red until I had lost a certain amount of food, and then back down onto Purple.

NOW, because apparently my body needs an extra starch I'm on Blue with no lites, BUT officially today I've lost 51.2 Pounds!
  • Hi,I'm purple plan, but last wk.when i told the councelor that i don't eat the bars, even tho i have two whole boxes, she said i was not getting enough food,so told me i should go to the red/pink? with more protein, and 1/2 bread..BUT,(this is the important part)If I do that and don't make my goal by the time they say I'll make it,I will not be garenteed, and will have to buy more months. However if I use the la lites, they gaurentee the weightloss in the prescribed weeks/months they set forth during the first day/and in my contract,AND if i don't make it i can keep going until i do make it WITHOUT buying another plan/or adding more $$ to buy more wks. I wanted to be garenteed,so Im sticking with the purple.Focused~
  • That is true... I will not make my 2 lb/week goal in the amount of weeks I purchased. I spoke with the manager at my COD and she said because I am doing Lites, and following the program, and coming to WI 3x/week, I can keep going until I reach my goal.

That being said, if you cannot do lites for a medical reason, I would read your contract. Also, the amount of money you spend on the lites may very well outweigh the cost of buying more weeks. It just so happens that for me, I like the Lites and think it's worth the extra cost.

    Hope this helps.
