**Goals for August 2006**

  • Yep - you heard right! It is just about August and time to start thinking about what you want to accomplish this month.

    What do you want to accomplish?

    My goals

    August Goals
    • Lose 5kg
    • 1200 minutes exercise
    • 2lt water per day
    • Complete month 1 of C25K
    • Focus on correct portion control at meals
  • My goals for Aug:

    * Cut unnecessecary junk out of my diet. Focus on getting enough water rather than drinking diet pop.
    * No bingeing.
    * Get more active. Make it a point to get off the couch atleast every other day.

    -lose 10lbs
    -drink 64 ounces of water daily

  • Ok I really need to think about this...I am tired of setting goals only to neglect them half way through the month. I need to give myself enough to work on and be successful, rather than just overloading like usual.

    Goals for August:
    • Drink 64 oz of water per day
    • Do 1100 minutes of exercise
    • Go the whole month without drinking anything with cals (except coffee I mean come on...)
    • Run 3X a week no matter what
    • Strength Train once a week no matter what
    • Track ALL calories this month

    Ok I think that should be enough to drive me crazy!

    my goals are

    1. drink 64 ounces water per day
    2. run 2 miles in the am atleast 5x a week
    3. walk 5 miles in the pm 5x a week
    4. stregnth train 3x a week
    5. watch portion control (good one!)

    Reach my first 10% (273.4lbs)
    Workout 3x a week and tone 3x a week
    Stay on plan with Weight Watchers

    My August Goals:

    *Lose 7 lbs.
    *Drink 64oz. of water
    *3 days of strength training a week
    *5 days of cardio a week
    *Total of 1000 exercise minutes for the month

    1. 750 min. exercise
    2. Stop being scared and goto the gym instead of boring walking
    3. Lose 8 lbs
  • My goals: (they're pretty tenuous. I don't really set firm deadlines for myself)

    Lose 5+ lbs
    Start using the gym once I get my school membership back (when class starts up again) Even if I don't work out inside I will at least start swimming again.
  • Madame's Goals for August
    1. Drinking at least 2000oz of Water
    2. To walk at least 30 Minutes Daily
    3. To say no to Candy, and find healthy sweet alternatives!
    4. To take Vitamins Daily
    5. To lose at least 10 POUNDS!!!
    6. Keeping a log of water intake, and exercises completed
    7. To keep track of calories - Max of 1928 daily

    -- Weigh in at 141
    -- Make it through EACH DAY without bingeing (just take it one day at a time...)
    -- Ge out of my apartment and enjoy my city!!
  • So I'm a couple days behind, but here are mine (sort of basic, since I'm just starting):

    August Goals
    1. Exercise at least 4 days/week
    2. Drink lots more water
    3. Cut down soda intake
    4. Lose at least 6 pounds
    5. Eat at least two servings of fruits & veggies every day, I'm seriously lacking in this department!
  • Simple ways:

    - Strength training at least twice a week
    - Vitamins!
    - Just say no to pop!
  • My Goals For August Starting August 4th:

    1. I would like to lose at least 5 lbs.

    2. Stop eating late at night... I find myself headed to the fridge at 10:30pm all too frequently.

    3. Drink more water. Good ole H2o

    4. Dive into my new Turbo Jam DVD as soon as it arrives, sometime next week.
