Every month or so I do a videoconference with the same group of people NYC. It's usually me alone on one screen, and a boardroom full of NYCers on the other. It's set up so I can hear them but they can't hear me unless I page in to ask a question or something. They usually forget that I can hear them even before the conference starts. This morning I connected it early and was writing a to-do list for the day, half-listening to the idle chatter of the NYCers, and I heard one say, "Hey, the Canada girl looks really hot today."
LOL! I don't know why, but it just totally delighted me. I guess because it was completely out of nowhere.
