tae kwan do??? anyone?

  • ok, so i'm thinking about joining tae kwan do - and I'm wondering if anyone here is in or has been before. it looks like something i'd get great benefits out of, both fitness and self-discipline, but I'd like to hear other people's opinions on if they've studied tae kwan do before.

  • I am in taekwondo and I LOVE it! It is very fun to kick stuff! There are women of all different ages and sizes at my studio. My son also does it and it is an activity we can do together. I have lost 10 lbs just from TKD. I also do kick cardio at the studio. It is such a blast and great exercise. Also at our studio, the monthly fee makes us eligible for as many classes as we want. I could easily train there 10+ hours a week (I don't because of my schedule), but it is a great deal for us.

  • One more reason I love TKD: I can exercise in my bare feet instead of shoving my feet into stinky exercise shoes!
