Newbie Here

  • Hi. Let me Introduce Myself. My name is Julie. I am 43 years old and Married with 2 daughters. I live Near Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I work in Food and Nutrition serving Kids at the School. Im a Type 2 diabetic and Im very OBESE :sad: I got on the Scale April 1, 2006 and I cried my eyes out. I never realized I was that heavy. Well the Scale said I was 300 lbs. This is the heaviest I have ever been. So, I turn to Weight Watchers 123 Success books that a Lady at work gave to me to use. Since I started, I lost 6 lbs so far. From what i understand im to be eatting 31points. Myy that is alot of points for a person to eat i think. I am eatting close to those points daily and I have been riding the Stationary Bike for about 20 min and also walking about 20 min a day. I have pitting Edema in my legs and and my legs just kill me. So, I hope to get to meet all you people as I Think I found myself a Place to call "HOME"...

  • Welcome aboard and you are not alone. As far as the excercise good for you but be careful you are not over doing it.

    About the exercising.. I walk 20 min and bike for 20 min.
    I don't feel I am over dueing it. Belive me, If I thought i was I would cut it down fast. Thanks for caring about my exercising Jillette..
