great airbrushing site!

  • I just LOVE looking at these! He does an awesome job! Even the super skinny girls have some cellulite and a little belly to airbrush away

  • Thanks for the site
  • Wow, that's crazy. I've always known about the power of Photoshop because I've touched up some of my own pictures but those are just crazy! Compared to the originals, the airbrushed ones look so fake. Ick.
  • omg, those girls are still too gorge b4 airbrushing.
this one looks almost cartoon like

That girl is waaaaay too pretty to be all airbrushed like that. To be honest, I would never hire that guy to touch up my own photos if I were a model. His touch ups are too fake looking for my tastes.
  • ur rite, alot on the 'porn-y' type ones are ott and cartoony, but air brushing halBerry!! and Destiny's Child! crimes!
  • Hee hee!
    Ah the irony...

I looked through those pics, and there were a couple of a very striking black woman with very long tiny braids, and her 'before' had her forearm covered in flaking henna bands (her pic is at the very bottom left corner of the grid.)

I thought, hmm, looks like Erykah Badu. Boy does she look TOTALLY different after the air-brushing! Sure, much younger, but fake and weird! Too smooth like she was dipped in orange plastic.

Anyway... I looked through the "Work" section, and there is a purple and gray magazine called "Braids" with her pic used on the cover. The text that runs over her photo?

"the natural beauty of erykah badu"

Something to keep in mind next time we all look through the fashion magazines and sigh and wish we looked like the models! Not even the models look like the models!
  • I've got to be honest...I find it pretty disturbing that no few of these women have seemingly had their skin color changed--often lightened.

And I must agree that his touch-ups are very fake-looking. It seems to me that much of the need for retouching could have been avoided with better photography in the first place. I'm a rank amateur, and I don't make half those mistakes!

    OK, this one is bad:

Look at how thin she is to begin with, and for some reason he felt the need to shave away some of her tummy!

    This one too:http://glennferon.com/portfolio1/portfolio36.html
    Front and back shaved there.
  • I totally was like 'woah' about the sea pic coz the was nothing wrong with it!
