I'm looking for someone (or two, three, more?) to buddy up with on my way to losing weight. It'd be nice to talk to someone with similar goals.
I'm 31, 5'9", and weigh 243. In my most recent attempt at losing weight, I have lost 24 pounds since Sept. 1, 2005. My super-short-term goal is to be 230 by my birthday (2/26). My short-term goal is to be under 200 by summer when I visit with my roommate and her family from college (10 years ago!). I haven't thought too much about my ultimate goal - I suppose I'd like to be about 150 - make that 149!
I am married and have two kids (boy - 8, girl - 4). I have been a foster parent for almost six years, and we currently have a 20-month-old living with us. I enjoy rollerblading very much, though I rarely get to do it. I also like to read when I get a chance, watch reality TV, go to the movies, play board games, and generally hang out with my family and friends. I work full-time, nine months a year. I work in the IT department for a school district and get the same breaks as the students. Work days are the easier for me diet-wise. Evenings, weekends, and holidays are the worst!
