I'm New! 166 pounds to lose...!

  • Hello Everyone!
    I posted a profile, but here is a bit about me:
    My name is Melissa, I'm 20 years old, and I have 166 pounds to lose until I reach my goal. I was looking for a buddy to help me get started..any takers? I'm regularly on MSN Messenger, so feel free to instant message me there! Anyone buddies out there just doing basic calorie counting and exercise? Look forward to hearing from ya'll!

  • Welcome, Melissa! I've still got about 120 pounds to lose (and I've already lost 40), so I SO know where you're coming from! I'm 23, and if you need a buddy, I'd love to get to know you. I don't use MSN Messenger, but I am on AIM almost all day, every day at work. I'm currently tracking calories and doing a little exercise here and there (usually only about 30 minutes, 3 times a week). This is a great group of helpful, supportive people, so don't be afraid to ask anything that pops into your head!

    I too am fairly new to this site and the weight loss deal. I'm watching what I eat and exercising as often as I can. It's been a little tough dealing with the hunger, but the end reward is more important and worth it. I wish you well, you can do it!

    I am doing calorie counting and exercise and have lost 50lb since Jan 1st - it's a great and healthy way to lose weight.
