St. Peter greeted them at the gate and welcomed them in. "There's only one rule, here though, don't step on the ducks!"
Well, the ladies were very careful, but after a few days, one of them stepped on a duck. Immediately, two guards came up, bringing with them the ugliest man the woman had ever seen in her life and handcuffed her to him. "As punishment for stepping on a duck, you will be chained to this man for all eternity." she was told.
Well, the other ladies were very careful, but after a few weeks, the second one stepped on a duck, too. Same scenario, the guards came up with the ugliest man she had ever seen and chained her to him for all eternity.
So, the third woman was VERY, VERY careful. Many months passed and she never stepped on a duck. One day, the guards came up to her with the most gorgeous man she had ever laid eyes on, and chained her to him.
"Oh my," she said, very flattered, "I don't know what I could have done to deserve this!!"
"I don't know about you," the man said,
"but I stepped on a duck!"
