My kids had a sitter this morning while I was at work and since it was raining, they decided to make a cake. They spent a lot of time decorating it etc and are soooo excited that we will have it when Daddy gets home from work.

Ugh. I don't want a cake in my house!

Maybe you could put it out of sight and then go for a walk while they eat it tonight and tell them to eat it all! lol Good Luck!

Oh man, what trouble! I know you can do this girl...don't give in. You might want to mention to the kids that you know they will enjoy this with Daddy, but Mommy can't have any or she'll get sick. I know we often helped my mom stay on her diet. We even wrapped a mayo jar in a napkin once because mayo was her biggest trigger food.

Well, I did have a small piece. I cut mine the smallest by far, but then later I succummed and had a little slice off the side.

It is still there, but the temptation is gone today so that is a good thing. Yesterday walking in the door and being confronted with chocolate cake just threw me for a loop. I didn't have any time to prepare, you know?

Yesterday was a rough day as far as food went for me anyway. I have got to get more organized and get my meals planned better. Then straying will not be so hard to resist.
