Hi all, not been around for a while (been quietly eating in the background!). Had my sister over from NZ over Easter hols & we're meeting up on the weekend for a big family get together. I have put on 2lb, but all things considered Idon't think that's too bad, as we've been very busy socialising and being on hols I've not done much exercising either, so quite relived (although not a good start to my May challenge!).
I've decided to take up ivillage's 6 week Walk It Off Challenge, you just sign up and they send you a newsletter each week. The idea is to get fitter through walking, eat healthier over the 6 weeks and hopefully lose some weight/inches into the bargain. I started week 1 on Saturday, and for this week you have to accumulate 30 minutes walking per day, at least 6 days this week, so you can do it in stages throughout the day, it doesn't have to be one long 30 min walk. So far so good, I've managed every day so far, and I've just been out for a 20 min walk to top up my 10 mins this morning taking my daughter to school. It was really nice to go out in the evening as it was still light and warm, I really enjoyed it.
So here's to the next 5½ weeks!
Take care all
