Tuesday menu for March 22, 2005

  • B: boiled egg, banana
    1st L: salad with butter lettuce, goat cheese, strawberries and balsamic vinegar dressing
    2nd L: chicken parmesan wrap (2 pts for the whole thing)
    D: Blackened fish fillet, green beans, cooked carrots, milk
  • b: oatmeal w/unsweetened applesauce mixed in, milk
    l: whole wheat angel hair w/tomato sauce, apple, milk
    s: popcorn
    d: tuna salad w/boiled egg, (in tortillas for everyone else), potatoes o'brien (cooked in my healthy oil) & broccoli, milk

  • B - oatmeal with raisins (p) and milk
    S - grapes
    L - borscht soup with sour cream and toast and butter (p)
    (somehow an extra piece of toast and jam crept in there - p)

    S - yogurt and fruit

    D - beans and chipotle and oven fries
    S - crustless pumpkin

    Man was I hungry at lunch. I think it is because I spent an hour at the gym, did my weights, 20 minutes on the treadmill and another 10 minutes on the treadmill. I don't think there is anything wrong with what i ate, I just didn't know I would be that hungry.

  • Kally, I'm such an exercise novice I don't know if what you experienced is normal. I haven't found it to be true for me. I think Torrey has mentioned that she has to eat more when she is doing heavy exercise.

    Breakfast: Crustless Pumpkin Pie

    Lunch: Sirloin burger with FF Borden Amercian slice (points for bun), 2 cups fresh fruit salad

    Snack: Chocolate banana smoothie

    Dinner: Sirlon steak, baked potato, mixed field greens salad, and steamed broccoli with smart balance (points)

    Dessert: White Chocolate SF/FF pudding with berries
