Celina and I met this afternoon! She lives 3 hrs south of me, and was up for part of the weekend, so we went and had lunch. We ate at White Spot, we both had the Mediterranian Chicken salad, it was almost like a greek salad (with the feta, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers) but with a garlic type dressing and grilled chicken in it. Then we came back to my place and visited for a bit. It was super fun, despite the really crappy, depressing weather.

I had to add, that this chica is tall! I'm 5'9 and she's 2 inches taller than me.

Ah, well now I have a moment to write, I was so sick yesterday with a migraine so now I'm up early this morning so I have a couple hours to catch up before going to work. (I still haven't unpacked, yesterday was a write off).

Anyways, so, YES - Raelynn and I met on Saturday and it was great..

Raelynn came to pick me up around 1:30pm (thank god, i wouldn't have known where I was going), got to meet her and her beautiful daughter, Jordanna (who I must say was very welcoming right off the bat). From there, we drove to White Spot (family restaurant here in Canada), and had lunch (both had a Mediterrean Salad). Lunch was good, talked a lot and really found we both have so much in common. As we didn't want it to end at lunch, we then drove back to Raelynn's house and sat around and chatted for most of the afternoon until about 5:45pm or so..

What can I tell you ladies? Raelynn is a beautiful person, both inside and out.. She's very much the same as I would have pictured from talking to her online for the past while. Very down to earth and friendly, and an incredibly strong person. I also got to see her inspiration clothing which was very inspirational to me too as I can totally relate, after all that's why we're both here.

In a nutshell, we got along very well and have already made plans to go shopping together when we reach our goal weights. That will give us both something to look forward to, and what a great reward that will be?! It amazes me what this board has done for my life, not only is it helping me with my weight loss goal, but I'm making new friends.... friends who know exactly what I'm going through and can help.

Well, anyways, time to go and make a breakfast smoothie and begin this beautiful Monday morning... Grrrrrrr... I hate Mondays...
