  • Hi, Subi...stick with it...4lbs. is 4 lbs.!
Subi, I think 4 lbs. is good for what you did. You had some Phase 2 foods in there (the "cheats") and the average weight loss for Phase 2 is 1-2 lbs. a week, so you did fine. What you have to do is find a program you can do forever, so ask yourself if you can do this (phase 3) for the rest of your life. Also, I agree with a lot of the people here in that the weight lifting could slow down the loss because muscle weighs more than fat, etc. I think the big key here is that you need more water. You wrote that you didn't drink much water. With all the exercise you do, you need plenty. I drink at least 4 cups during exercise alone...you probably need more. Try that and see if it works. And remember, not everyone loses 10 lbs. or so the first 2 weeks. A lot of people here didn't. I think these "promises" that are made are one size fits all and they don't take into account everyone's different needs, medications, water retention issues, etc. So stick with it, drink your water and keep exercising. I think you are doing great. Don't get down about the "cheats"...they are just poor choices that you made and I made some poor ones in Phase I as well. Keep at it. You can do it!
