Hot Bacon Cream Sauce

    4 slice bacon -- (up to 8)
    2 tbsps minced onion -- fresh (up to 3)
    12 ozs heavy cream
    Cut bacon into one inch pieces.
    Fry until nearly crisp and then add onion.
    Saute until lightly browned.
    Drain off grease. Add heavy cream to the bacon and onion, turn
    heat to low and cook, stirring frequently, until the cream is reduced nearly
    by half.
    Season with pepper to taste.
