Post your goal DATE!

  • I think I've asked that in one form or another, but I'm curious. When are you scheduled to make your goal weight?

    This helps me, especially when I see some dumb ad on TV for "melt fat off your thighs overnight by eating everything you want until you throw up pill"

    I know that this is a process and it isn't going to happen overnight and I can't take a pill to make it happen while I have my favorite candybar in my mouth.

    July 4th weekend. It's a date in my planner. I'm "scheduled" to BE there. Where I want to be. I'm imagining going to the 4th of July parade in a size of pants I haven't seen for eons................

    What's your plan?
  • i WANT TO BE IN onderLAND BY SEPT. 30. after i hit 199 i will re-evaluate and pick a real goal weight i think. i have so much to loose it helps me to break it down like that. so my goal for now is 46lbs over the next 5mos. doable??? i think so. i'll give it my best shot at least.
  • My goal date is my birthday which is October 2 (I'll be turning 27). I haven't weighed in in a while, but estimate that my weight is somewhere between 160 and 170lbs, I just don't like admitting that right now. I have been eating horribly, so anyway, I am thinking my goal weight of 145 is reasonable (although it might be up to 150) and that's 5.5 months to alter and adjust if things aren't working to well and getting over plateaus. My main goal is to be a perfect size 5/6 (I love being muscular and very solid, I can weigh a lot wheeee ). I have too many clothes in the closet in those sizes that need to be worn again!

  • My goal date is also the 4th of July. I wanna wear a bikini for the first time in my life! Well, look good in shorts and a tank top, anyway.
  • I have lost 22 pounds in 2 1/2 months. I want to lose 60. Therefore, if I consider that it came off fast at first because of phase 1, it will probably take me another 5-6 months which gives me a projected goal date of August or September. I should look good by the time school starts back in the fall.
  • Mine is 20 May -- the day we're going to the opera!
  • My goal date is June 21...I have my last 10lbs to go
  • My personal goal is by September 23 but if you do the 2 # a week it is July 17!!!!!
  • My goal date is my birthday as well. I want to lose 25 more pounds I am going on 5 pounds per month, but at the rate I am going it might be October 22 2005.
  • Going by the 2# a week calculation I should hit my goal weight the day I leave for my honeymoon - September 5, 2004!!! It worked out as coincidence but it's a GREAT motivator!
