  • well i made a list of everyone who signed on for the april challenge along with what they are hoping to shed in april. hope i got everyone on the list. if i missed you very sorry just add yourself in.

    i just added up everyones goal loss for this challenge and if we all loose what we are hoping for this month the fat chicks on the beach forum will be 404lbs lighter wow can you believe it 404lbs??? the sand might shift .

    I'm down 8 of my 12 pounds so far!! Like I said, I was having the SBD "beginners luck." I imagine that's a lot of water weight. The real work is starting now!
  • Oops... Don't think I'm going to make it. Down only one of my 8 for the month. Back on Phase 1 right now, so hopefully I can get most of the way by the end of the month. I think 8 might have been too much for one month since I'm only trying for 15 to 20 more total. We'll see what happens!

  • I need a kick in the butt. I don't think I am going to make my goal. But I will try.
  • I don't think I will make it I am only down 1 of my 8. I need some advice the only time I went off the plan was Easter and that was only a bit of stuffing and 3 small chocolates, I have a brisk walk every night for 30 minutes (the last 15 minutes uphill)
  • Just 2.5 for me so far. I have been working hard as I can but it is slow going as usual. Any time my weight goes down and not up it is an accomplishment, though.
  • I'm down 2 of 5. Considering I haven't seen the scale move since phase 1 over a month ago, I'm happy. Does anyone have any good advice for how not to gain weight when you go out of town for a week, eating out every meal and being poor on top of it? If I could afford it, there are all sort of great restaurants in Sioux Falls, but I'm on a McDonald's dollar menu budget.
  • South Dakota chick...not sure where you are going but I would think that Wendy's would be a good choice you can get chilli and a salad. Subway for an Atkins wrap and you any truck stop resturant would have if nothing else eggs you could get a veggie omlet. I would think they would be reasonably priced.
  • I've lost the five - with the help of Liquid Plumber and Rotot Rooter! I am just hoping it stays gone for the rest of the month.

    I've had a better month than I thought I would. My goal is to lose 10 this month. I was hesitant at first because last month wasn't great but I'm feeling pretty encouraged.

    You all sound like you are doing great. I love the encouragement I here. The great ideas and the recipes. yum
  • This morning the scale said 216 so I am down 3 of the 9 so far. I don't think I'll quite make it, but I am still gonna try!
