    Atkins Induction - Day 10

    Breakfast:
    1 oz peanuts - 3
    (I know this is not on induction but it was all I could grab)
    2 cups coffee w/splenda & cream - 7

    Snack:
    deer sausage

    Lunch:
    grilled chicken
    coleslaw - 3
    caff free diet coke

    Supper:
    boiled shrimp
    salad & dressing - 3

    Water: 80 oz

    Exercise: none again *sigh*

    Total carbs: 16

    Scale: 202 (-3)

    snack:
    diet pepsi and 1 liter of water

    Romaine: 1.5

    total: 16.5 carbs!!!

    An ounce of peanuts is 3? I've been counting 5 all this time!

    Breakfast:
    Extra sharp cheddar (my current favorite thing!) - .5
    Sausage - 0
    Half-caf w/splenda - 2

    Lunch:
    Steak - 0
    Spaghetti squash w/butter - 4

    Dinner:
    Shrimp scampi - 3
    Steamed spinach - 1

    Snack:
    Strawberries w/whipped cream - 4

    Total = 14.5

    Breakfast:
    Flax cereal -- 3

    Lunch:
    Salad -- 5

    Snack:
    Coffee with cream and sweetner -- 3

    Supper:
    Sausage -- 0
    Cheddar -- 1
    Coleslaw -- 3

    Snack:
    LC yogurt (YUM!!) -- 3

    TOTAL: 18 carbs
  • Star - the reason I counted 3 on the peanuts is bec it said 5 carbs, and 2 fiber, so I subtracted to get the Net Carbs of 3 bec #6 of Induction says "eat no more than 20 grams a day of Net Carbs" of course it goes on to say "in the form of 3 cups of salad greens or 2 cups of greens and 1 cup of other vegetables" and says not to have nuts while on induction. So it's like I'm following the rules until I stretch them a little.

    Are ya'll counting net carbs or all carbs?

  • I just checked fitday and you're right! Wow! For some reason I was thinking it was 7 grams total and 2 fiber so I was counting 5. Thanks, Cathy!!!

    (ate out at the chinese place with mom - it was the best I could do)

    brocolli & bacon salad - 3

    Supper: not hungry
    1 oz peanuts - 3

    Exercise: *sigh*

    Water: 96 oz

    Total carbs: 20
