New To SBD and some questions...

  • Hi Everyone...I am just starting SBD.

    I think it will be great! But, I do have a few questions...

    Do you follow any type of carb/fat/protien ratio? Or just eat allowable foods?

    Plus, I did not see any quantity listed - I am afraid I will overeat if I do not weigh/measure everything..

  • We don't weigh or measure or count.
    We eat till full.

    Look to the Foods list and follow that as your guideline.

    Although there is no official ratio, some of us use www.fitday.com to check out our intake sometimes. You have to experiment and find what works for you but I sure as heck wouldn't worry about it the first few weeks!

    As to serving size, reasonable is the key word. If you are not full, have a serving of a different allowable food. This is nutritionally the safest way to go. (Check out the FAQ for the revised list of Phase I allowables. )
