Good Morning, Everyone!

Rachel Do you know the reason for the dizziness? A friend of mine from church is having issues with vertigo. No fun. Hopefully you feel better when you get up.

Ciecie I hope all is well with your labs.

Nancy Yay for the workout! Enjoy spending time with your family.

Teri I have never made couscous or have even had tabouli.

Steps from yesterday: 6,598

Have a Blessed day and stay safe and healthy.

Job 1:21
'. . .Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.'

Stella was extremely frustrated. She had worked so hard to lose weight. She had done a great job, but now it was even harder to keep it off. She felt she was doing a good job of eating the right foods in small quantities, but when she'd step on the scales, she would find her weight creeping up. She always thought that once she got her weight down, everything would be easy. Boy, was that false! Weight-watching was a full-time job! Stella used to pray for God to keep her in line, but now the prayers were needed all the time. It just went to prove that nothing could be taken for granted. Good things don't come easy, but they're still worth having.

Today's thought: Lord, give me strength, but take my weight problem!

Hi!

I made an entry...but it did not go through and it was not saved...frustrating.

Rachel: Hope you get your energy back...

Diana: Tabouli tastes really good. It is easy to make, but when I grow parsley it is not available all the time. I think I need to grow in the the ground instead of a pot. I make tabouli without mint. But I grow mint in a pot. I have had it at middle eastern restaurants and orthodox church food fests and through neighbors. Oh, you can make tabouli with couscous, or other grains...

Nancy: Enjoy your family time...

Diet was a tad off today: a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (420 calories) and a small Pepsi (100 calories). But I still think that I am doing pretty good. I don't know what to do to lose wt. easily.

If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you! I have lived by this rule for the last few months and it has helped me lose the weight with a steady workout and eating habits.

Good afternoon! WorkOutQueen, selling things isn’t allowed on this thread. Teri, love tabouli! Haven’t had some in years! Power walked to and home from lunch. Ran errands on the way home. Will power walk to my meeting tonight. 😁❤️😷🍀

Good Morning!

My entry did not go through (again).

CieCie: That harbor restaurant sounds good.// I used to get tabouli and homemade cherry pie at a plant sale. YUM!

Diana: I made tabouli without a recipe. I think it tastes better if I use a salad dressing called Garlic Expressions. I ended up with a lot of left over parsley. Maybe I will freeze it and use it for soup.

Rachel: Zip-pet-ee doo-dah! If I ever get some ideas about energy, I will let you know.

Nancy: Hello!

Question?: I was wondering if any of you have tried oat milk and if so, what do you think about it. I read that it is easy and cheap to make, but I think that I prefer to buy it. I use almond milk, and I read that almond trees which are grown in CA are hard on the environment because they use a lot of water and there is drought there, and a lot of pesticides are used. I am also wondering about the protein contents of these alternative milks. I guess I need to look/compare labels at the store.

I biked/swam/water walked yesterday.

Good Morning, Everyone!

Teri I have also heard a lot about the alternative milks as being highly processed, using thickeners, having pesticides, etc. No personal experience.

Luke 19:40
And he answered and said unto them, 'I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.'

Preston could hardly contain his excitement as the plane approached its landing. He hadn't seen his sister in over a year. At their last meeting he had weighed about 260 pounds. Now, he was a trim 180. He couldn't wait to see her face. He never remembered being so anxious to see anyone before in his life. It was important to him to please his family, and he knew nothing would please his sister more than to see him looking so good. God give us such experiences to make our sacrifices worthwhile. We can be thankful that God motivates us in such loving ways. With His blessed help, we can't keep from succeeding.

Today's thought: I want others to see me like they've never seen me before!
