  • Thanks for joining this thread, ShellOfShelf and WannaBeHealthy! This is a hard time of Year to lose weight. I have going back and forth a few LBS since I think April. It would be Awesome to finally reach my Goal Weight. But even if I don't to be as close as I can come to it would be good too. Good Luck!

    Starting this challenge today,
  • I just did the math- and I think I can lose 20 pounds between now and Christmas.

    Currently 289.5 as of my weight in this morning- so my goal is to get to 270!!! KSTRONG- I'm also copying you.

  • My Christmas gift to myself is to hit 219. I haven't dipped under 220 since graduating from nursing school almost 4 years ago.
  • I hope we are still doing this challenge. I am at 189 today. I keep bouncing back and forth between 189-190 but really want to move forward with more downward motion and be at 180 by Christmas. Doing that would give me some free new clothes because they are already in my closet! Lets go!!
  • Well I gained .2 LBS for the month of October. I hope to at least get to the 150's by December 25th. I didn't lose enough to reach my GW for December 25th. The next two months are the hardest time of the Year to lose weight but will see what I can do. Good Luck, Everyone!


  • I am up 2 lbs in the past 5 days. That's pounds, not tenths!! If I keep this up I will be getting a lump of coal! But there's still time to turn this around. 2 years ago when DH was in the hospital I lost 15 lbs. I'm trying to be careful what I wish for!! LOL

    if i can get stuck in to a consistent effort for the next 8? weeks, then i should be just about at the place where i can fit back in to my summer wardrobe comfortably which would be the best Christmas present (i'm in Aus so summer starts in December).

    Just weighed in at 54.0kg this morning so my Christmas wish #1 is looking good (unless i have a lapse between now and then). Haven't tried on the skirt yet. I'll wait til im in the 53's to try it on, which is my final final place to be and should be there by the end of the week.
