Hello Everyone!

  • This is my first day on the site. I'm trying to learn how to navigate. I need to lose a minimum of 40 pounds. I have been on the Ideal Protein diet for getting close to three months. It is getting harder and harder not to cheat, but I did lose 23 pounds. I'm thinking about going back to Weight Watchers because I don't think I can continue this Ideal Protein VERY STRICT approach. Can anyone out there relate to this?
  • Welcome!
You'll find plenty of support and ideas here. I have been a member for a while and visit off and on when I feel down and need some pick-me-up stories or ideas or simple motivation.
I believe there is an Ideal Protein board where you'll find many others that can help you out. But you know your body best and if you feel it's getting too rough for you, you may be right. I'm not on that plan and I don't really know anything about it. I'm on a strict Ketogenic plan with Very Low Carb and intermediate fasting. Normally I don't do well with strict but I find it quite easy on this plan. I don't feel deprived at all, and I've only been on it a little while but already my sweet tooth is gone and I'm rarely hungry, which I believe is why I can handle this as strict as it is.
Is there a specific reason you find it difficult?
