Hi! I tried it in the past and while it did NOT help me lose any weight or curb my appetite, it did help with depression. But only for a couple months and then it stopped working.
Thanks for the feedback. I had read that 5HTP might help curb carb cravings, which seems to be one of my biggest obstacles to weight loss. When I go very low carb, as in less than 20g/day, the cravings subside and I lose weight. Unfortunately, I also become completely exhausted and am unable to sustain the so-called "low carb lifestyle". I then abandon low carb, binge on carbs, and gain 10 more pounds than I lost. LOL. You would think I'd quit trying the same old song and dance.
