Surprise weight loss

  • It's been a while since I posted, because I've had a very busy Summer...but today I stepped on the scale for the first time in weeks and was shocked to find that I'm actually down from the last time I weighed.

    This never happens! I haven't been tracking calories or exercising as regularly as usual this Summer. I HAVE done a pile of walking and I had three beautiful, healthy, stress-free weeks of eating reasonably, as hungry, with the odd snack, about midway through...so maybe that sort of re-set my metabolism?? My body usually clings to every excess calorie I eat, and in the past week I've been binging on and off, and scarfing down some big greasy meals...but, I'm down 2 pounds from before those few weeks! (which is not a lot...BUT still).

    I just wanted to share the experience. It's nice that not constantly thinking about food and input/output has worked out.
