Hello, chicks!
After being diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 29 (I just turned 30) I've started a true "weight loss journey", so to speak. I've been working at a fairly leisurely pace and managed to lose about 25 lbs.- but I still have many to go until I reach my goal weight of 150 lbs.
I came here hoping to find like minded ladies who weren't hoping to go from 135 to 125 lbs - there's absolutely nothing wrong with that kind of self improvement for the most part, but it's not easy for me to relate to as someone starting over 200 lbs.
