  • I am testing a combination of a couple of methods to see what will work best with my lifestyle, but I find my biggest challenge to getting the body I want is the "working out" bit.

I like to move (walk, dance for fun) but I DON'T want to go to the gym. My biggest challenge has never been so much the food. I love experimenting with food and I love to cook. However, you start telling me to lift dumbells and I'm like...."Umm...no."

I'm curious about others on here...what your biggest challenge?
  • I love to exercise but do struggle with the organisation of the food ......

It's so easy to ruin a good day foodwise so very quickly ..... Sometimes without even thinking about it .....
  • Genes. You really can get everything else right and look great. But the final mile depends on your heritage. Unfortunately.
  • Loose skin
Loose skin hanging off my abs, thighs, arms, etc.
I look fine standing up - defined abs, arms, etc, but if I bend over or do a plank or hold my arms out - loose skin hanging off and it took 4 years for me to lose the weight (approx 100 lbs) and I've kept it off since 2011 (5 years) and I exercise at least 5 days a week and do planks and rowing machine every day.
  • Wow FitFatForty! That's quite the accomplishment losing all that weight. Also for being so consistent with your exercise. You've given more motivation to workout. You diligence has paid off.

I wish health insurance would cover a cosmetic surgery for people that have lost a significant amount of weight and would like to improve the way the skin looks. Especially if a doctor said that the patient must lose that weight for their health.

Either way, your accomplishment is something to be proud of.
