    guacamole don't you dare do that this weekend. If you promise to do well ... I will. I know for me it will be a struggle but I will do it with you in mind and hopefully vice versa ... We can do this! TOGETHER, what do you say I'm 169 today also. Will probably be 170 something tomorrow with my track record but I promise it will go down by Monday with eating OP with ya'

    Rennie, you've got this! I know sometimes this stuff ebbs and flows -- you'll get your groove back and be off to the 60's in no time. I just know it!!

    I'm going on vacation this week, so hopefully will just maintain at 176.6. I'll be happy with that, but we'll see. It's hard when you're a guest in someone else's home and don't have a car.

    Keep fighting the good fight, ladies! Will check in when I get home and maybe there will be tumbleweeds here by then! Hopefully for all of you!
  • KrisM11, ha that's funny! I've been in the 170s for years, no reason for me to think I'd finally dip into the 160s so easily LOL I follow a diet where my weight goes up and down by about five pounds every week, so I'm up some right now and maybe by the end of the week I'll see if I can finally make it happen. Aiming for maintenance is great for being on vacation! Even if your weight goes up a little bit, it is likely to come off easily as soon as you get back into routine.

    Rennie - Sounds like a normal fluctuation to me. Don't be too hard on yourself!

    Good week so far, though I definitely went over on my fast yesterday. I'm hanging out at 172 today. I've got a smoothie for breakfast, a small lunch, lots of fruit to snack on, and dinner ready to prepare when I get home before I go to caucus tonight. Definitely enjoying Blue Apron so far and not having to worry about meal planning quite as much.
  • Hi, everyone! Hanging on to 169 (up 1 pound from 168), but I ate a huge restaurant breakfast this morning, so I'm sure the scale will be back to 170s tomorrow. You know what though, it was worth it - celebrating getting good news on test results at doc that I've been worrying myself over. Sometimes you have to throw caution to the wind, and get back on the horse right after. Good luck today, ladies!

    NNS like you I have been between the same weights for a great period of time now. I'm a little tired of the normal fluctuations but I know I have to do something productive to get that to change. My issue is consistency (I just don't seem to know what that means anymore ) I need to go back to making my smoothies for breakfast and lunch because it works. I need a truly good detox smoothie I was gonna try blue apron. Glad you like it

    guacamole yay for good news from your doctor hey since the worrying is over you may just drop a few pounds that were hanging on to that worry. for ya and good job on the 160's

    So. I'm 34 with 3 kids. After the birth of my youngest, who's now 3, I buckled down and lost about 40 pounds and kept it off for a year and a half. I had a stressful last summer and put 20 back on due to daily alcohol consumption. Yikes!! My goal, of course, is to lose the 20 again and then it's tummy tuck time for me. I've been losing and gaining the same 4 pound for 5 MONTHS!!! I generally eat very low carb. High protein. Trying to primarily follow a paleo lifestyle. Plus walking and running daily. I'm stuck here. I'm depressed. I don't know what to do at this point. I thought about trying ******** but it's costly and my hubby isn't on board with me spending the $$. Any advice welcome!!
  • 178lbs. I dont forsee getting out of the 170s soon but closer to that will be great.
  • slem81 and to the thread Sorry you're feeling depressed. Not sure what you'd like to try because the moderators deleted it. But if it's pricey maybe you should consider other options. What have you tried already? How much do you weigh now? What is your goal weight?

    noshoes I'm at 172.3 today ... I don't foresee getting out of here and really being/staying out either anytime soon
  • I am still at 169 - I really haven't lost anything this week and PMS is still hanging around. I don't really have a clear idea of how many calories I ate today, because I did the cooking and tasting game. Well, I had to see if everything was on point, right? The good news is that I tasted vegetable dishes...but it all adds up, as there was olive oil in all of them. Also had half of a restaurant tuna wrap, which did me no favors - for awhile I was eating wraps like crazy - they aren't bread right? Ummm....no. Just no. So, I've really cut back, and haven't had one in weeks. Gotta get back in gear.
  • Saw 168 on the scale this morning, but I glimpsed that number last week too and popped back up again. Maybe I will mosey over to the 160s thread now for a boost of encouragement or a change in mindset - I AM in the 160s now, even if it's the upper end? Maybe the change to a new thread will get things moving a little faster?

    Thanks love2b150! It's good to be out of the 180s, hoping to stay here a little while. Initial goal ( this month)is to get under 80kg. I did it over a year ago and it just didn't last so trying to be patient.
