  • So I've been bouncing around from 269-265 for the past two weeks. Hopefully now that "that time of the month" has passed, my body can start going in the right direction again.
  • Hi there Bird,

Feel your frustration, I keep bouncing between 255 - 260. Every 2 weeks the scale goes up 4-5 pounds and then it takes me 2 weeks for it to come off... I know its water weight, still frustrating. Especially as it means that what I am doing isn't netting any weight loss.

Keep at it - I bet you will hit that 259 before you know it!
  • You keep at it as well! I'm adjusting some numbers today to see if that gets me anywhere.
  • Hey lady, how are you doing? How are the tweaks going?
  • I'm so happy to be joining this thread today. I am officially at 268 this morning, and I'm very excited about that. I look forward to this next part of my journey. This is the lowest I've been in about 10 years, and I finally feel like I'm in the right frame of mind to keep going.
  • Congratulations! What fantastic achievement! It definitely sounds like you are in the right frame of mind! What are you doing to lose weight?

This is a quiet thread at the moment. I am in maintaining mode while on steroids for the next several months, so I will be around Hopefully soon I will see some downward progress once off the medication.

Keep posting and keep up the great work!
  • Thanks Kat117. I've been doing a couple of different things. I started doing low carb, which works well for me. A friend talked me into doing low calorie for a few weeks but I gained. I really don't follow a strict plan. I think just being more aware and watching my carb intake are key for me.

Steroids are no fun, especially where weight is concerned. Best of luck.
  • I haven't been around for a few days, but I'm still at 268 after eating poorly for a few days. I hope to see a loss this week.
  • Hey ladies, jumping in here to say hey, I'm Meredith, and that I'm hoping to get a bit of motivation as we move into the holidays. I don't weigh myself often, but I'm going to start beginning on Sunday weighing once a week, to help motivate for my end of year goal. Last time I weighed in I was 252; I had gotten down to 239 last spring, but the summer had me back up in the 260's. I workout regularly, just need to get diet/sleep/water fine tuned. I look forward to seeing all of us lose
  • Hi ladies,

I've been hovering around 268 for a week now. I must admit I have been eating out a lot though so I'm not surprised. It is my personal goal starting today to avoid eating fast food and exercise way more! Need the strength! I hope to be in the 250's by Thanksgiving! Good luck to everyone else and great job to all the "losers!"
  • I'm hanging on to 268, which I can't believe given how I've eaten lately. Hoping to get back on my plan today. My next goal is 13 lbs away.
  • I finally saw a change on the scale this morning. I'll happily take the 266!
  • Just made it in to the 260's this morning at 269. happy I am out of 280's -270's
  • Still here! Having a super stressful month. Moving, turning a new chapter in my life, and dealing with the consequences of having to jump out of a lease earlier. Just trying to keep things under control at this point. <3 Hope you all are doing well.
  • Hi everyone! I haven't checked in for a little over a week. I'm still trying, but I'm kind of all over the place with my eating. I've decided I don't really have a set plan, but I'm not gaining so no complaints. I'm at 264 today. I love seeing the scale move! Hope everyone has a good week.
