New to this...

  • After seeing a picture of me and some of my old friends at my daughter's wedding I decided that it was time to do something. I started the Ideal Protein diet about six weeks ago and although I've lost almost 18 pounds so far, it seems to be going so slow for all the effort (and lack of my favorite carbs), that I'm putting into it.

    I see a lot of younger dieters posting on these message boards about IP, but am curious to see how well women in my age group are doing with this particular diet.

    I'm not doing any particular diet regiment. Mostly cause I hate being "limited" & they are usually pricey. I'm just eating healthy (watching sodium & large amts. of carbs), exercising more & drinking more H20. That is what seems to work for me. It helped me loose 100 lbs. some years back & so far it's working for me again. I'm down 13 lbs.
    I know here you'll find a lot of encouragement, advice & support. Good luck in your journey!!!
