Fat arms -- need help!

  • Hello,

I have really fatty upper arms. I am 50 lb overweight, so I know that's what to expect with my upper arms, nevertheless, when I see my pictures, I realize I have special 'bumps' in my upper arms that look ugly even under long-sleeved clothing and that my upper arms are kinds disproportionately fattier than the rest of my body. Please suggest some workouts that helped you with your upper arms.

    Thanks.
  • Losing weight will help but you can't spot check with fat loss. I still have a stubborn belly, for instance.

That being said you can tone up those guns with some bicep curls and tricep curls. You might also find some seated military presses help. Don't worry about bulking up. This is very hard to do as a woman as you don't have the hormones us men have. So work them arms and good luck!
  • Thanks, Ian.
  • I agree with IanG... Eat clean, lots of water, do cardio for fat loss, and keep exercising with weights or body weight... the rest of your body is important too so make it a whole body work out..... Having said all this it may be that your fat is carried in your arms more than the rest of your body, so learn to accept it and move on... my fat deposit spot are my thighs and I do a LOT of lunges, squats, and walking... I'm healthy so that's what really counts
