Lose 5 pounds first challenge #56

  • So this is a challenge for anyone! Anyone and everyone is welcome! You do not need to follow this plan. You can start anytime! and weigh in as often or whenever you can.

    This challenge is to see who can lose 5 lbs the fastest! If you do YOU WIN! (more ways than 1)

    I love the idea of just focusing on 5 pounds!

    Glad to start off the new thread and happy I hit my 5lb mark. I'm in the middle of week four of an extended atkins induction and feeling FAB! It's TOM right now but I'm getting in more veggies this week than I have in the past four of my 12-15 carb count and based on my numbers so far this week it is really paying off. Hope everyone has a great end to their week/start to their weekend.

    I have been sick most of the evening...maybe food poisioning from pork last night...working on trying to get water to stay down. If not, headed to the hospital for an iv. Boo.

    I'm not closing out this thread even though I hit way under the 5lbs because I have been so ill the past two days, so I don't feel like the weight loss really counts. I'm curious though as to why more people aren't here in thread 56. Lulu, Jessie where are you guys?

    My guess as to why the thread is slower: Remember Jessie's wife hid her scale so that may be an issue. Also it is a Holiday of eating in the US and many other countries so not a good time to be losing 5 pounds. The 300+ Club is really slow.

    Holding steady and starting to feel better again. It was a rough weekend but I never went off plan. Hope your doing well ubee.

  • ok ladies, I decided that without a morning weigh I don't feel accountable and tend to just eat whatever knowing I wont see the damage it does on the scale.... That being said I am back on the no carb wagon and got my scale back :-) thanks for keeping it going strong ladies lets do this thing...

    I'm not concerned with the gain because my body is slowly getting rehydrated again. Still totally on plan and moving into week 5.
  • Jessie accountability was huge to me getting my first chunk off, then my chubby buddy dropped out. Glad to have this thread.
    shan great attitude. This is a journey so we have to learn to hang on and work through all kinds of situations. (Hope I never get food poisoning!)
