  • This is Challenge 8 of our 2014 Goal Year Challenge.

    Challenge 8 will be approximately 6 weeks according to when your weigh in day is and will cover Thanksgiving Day until New Years Eve Day. Everyone is welcome - you don't need to have been a part of the previous challenge to participate.

    Challenge 1: New Years Day to Valentine's Day (January 1 to February 14th)
    Challenge 2: Valentine’s Day until April Fools Day (February 14th to April 1st)
    Challenge 3: April Fools Day until Mother's Day (April 1st to May 11th)
    Challenge 4: Mother's Day until Independence Day (May 11th to July 4th)
    Challenge 5: Independence Day to Labor Day (July 4th to September 1st)
    Challenge 6: Labor Day to Columbus Day (September 1st to October 13th)
    Challenge 7: Columbus Day to Thanksgiving (October 13 to November 27th)
    Challenge 8: Thanksgiving Day to New Years Eve (November 27th to December 31st)

    Weigh in for challenges will be once a week. Copy and paste this format or create your own, edit dates to match your weekly weigh in day. You'll be coming back each week to update your progress (find the entry and copy and edit). This thread will be available for us to chat about the challenge, overcome struggles and celebrate successes.

    A new thread will be posted for each new challenge as they approach. This means the thread will not get super long by end of the year and anyone can jump in at any point in the year!

    12/4/2014: 248.2 (I hit this weight on the 29th of November, then shot up to 250 again, and now I am back down to this weight *woohoo* lol , I also just realized I forgot to weigh in yesterday *oops* how did that happen , so I moved all my weigh in days a day back except New Year's Eve )
    12/11/2014: 252 (3.8 lbs up, after a few days of binge eating 1 lb.=3,500 calories is bull in my opinion lol, Been back on track for 2 days and went from 257 down to the current 252 so its progress)
    12/18/2014: 246.4 lbs. I reweighed myself after a nap (I'd just had breakfast before the nap) and I weighed in at 246.4 lbs. a few hours later (originally I had it as 247.2), sold! lol
    12/25/2014: 252.2 with my clothes on (all other weigh ins were nude) went to Kim Son Vietnamese restaurant last night and overdid it on a whole bag of popcorn and a box of Florida's natural candy so not a surprising weigh in.
    12/31/2014: End Weight: 246.6 lbs.

    So Obviously I didn't make my goal, and even put on weight the last week, which stinks for sure, buuuuuuuut on the plus side, I still did lose weight the last month. albeit only 3 lbs when I was down 5 until last week. I'll just get it the next time! New goal is the same as this last month. Get down to 205.

    12/07/2014: 244 (I don't think this is really accurate given the fact that I basically went crazy for Thanksgiving but it's what the scale has been saying all day so not going to argue with it any longer)
    12/10/2014: 242-243 (I couldn't believe it when I saw this on the scale esp after the way I ate during and post Thanksgiving but I weighed myself yesterday and this morning to be sure)

  • I lost 3lbs out of 5.5 last time so I didn't quite make goal. But that's not stopping me from trying again. Leggo!
