  • I should mention that my weight (243.4) is the lowest it has been since before my youngest son (8) was born!!!!!!
    Plus, I didn't even tell everyone how excited I was that I could actually cross my legs again! I didn't even realize I had done it, during church a couple of weeks ago, until it was time to get up and sing the invitational and I had to uncross them! Talk about Praising the Lord!!!
    I have not done great the last couple of days so I am trying to brace myself for going back up a bit.....especially when I get to go back to exercising later this week. But I am going to enjoy it while it lasts!

  • JB, that is fantastic!! And I do know the feeling Last year it was a tremendous struggle to put my socks on, I Could not get a hand in front of my feet... I had to kinda snag my toes with the socks and work them down. Now... Yesterday, I went to see how far in front of my feet I could put my hands... More than 18 inches Needless to say, no more socks problems And other improvements as well. But the downside, these new clothes are getting expensive to stay up with. GL and keep it up !!

    Hi! I am new to the Forum...(I hope I am doing this right) My goal for this month is 10 lbs. Nice to meet you all. Let's do this!
  • BFR, W2G on your progress! I have some clothes put away that I will be able to wear again (if they aren't out of style!) but I plan on hitting yard sales, resale shops and Goodwill when it gets to the point that I need new ones. Some of mine have gotten too big to wear but some were so tight when I started that I can still wear them. I have one shirt that was long and made to be worn kind of big. I liked it because it came down low enough to cover the big roll that hung below my gut. It is big enough know that I can wear it as a tunic! I just put some leggings on and throw that sucker on and I have a whole new outfit! And it's really cute! I CAN'T WAIT to HAVE to go get new clothes! In fact, I will probably need some new jeans/slacks before winter is over. I weeded out 3 pairs yesterday that were sagging and another (my favorite!) are really too big but I just pull the belt a little tighter. Getting rid of those jeans will be bittersweet. And I've looked EVERYWHERE for some more of them and can't find them. I got them at an outlet.

  • Hey everybody... i've been having such a hard time with migraines and haven't been able to do everything i'm used to, including logging here and exercising. Gained a whole kg, that's probably a result of not exercising and eating like i'm used to. I'm a bit discouraged.
