    I'm on week 2 induction and I'm starting to notice the weight loss has slowed down. Is it normal or it is still early for that?

  • Basbosa.... I too (and I think most people) slow down the 2nd week of Induction. The first week is really a big WHOOSH of water (some fat too) then the next week (I swear) the body is getting into the new eating routine... I see people losing .5 to 4 lbs a week (those who lose 4 lbs after induction - I don't know how they are doing it lol) I belonged to the .5 lb club and sometimes nothing ... then I would have a whoosh week where I lost 4-5 lbs. Everyone is different... You will notice that your body has a pattern of losing... Keep track and know that that pattern is true. That helps the frustration when you have a week that you don't lose. But maybe you will be one of the lucky ones and lose every week! I wish that for you!

    Down that water today Hooray! I still have 11 lbs of gained weight to lose.. grrrrrrr... Going to Disney Saturday for the day.. so I hope to walk, tho the people I go with are into the Epcot drinking around the countries (sigh.... so I am the designated eyes to watch how to get back to the hotel (My friends got one for the night yeah.. no driving back after all that walking) )) Looking forward to bouncing! LOL

    Kathy... now I am chasing you! Good for you being in the Teens! !

    Sue, great job!! I see the rain is working wonders

    I'm really concerned I wouldn't lose in a good rate that is why I'm keeping calories low. But I feel I need to up them a little by 100 or even 200!!
    I've a weight loss pattern never changes even with changing my diet plan. I never lose the few days before periods and first two to three days of it, but I noticed also that I don't lose much around ovulation time!
    I'm wondering if anyone else is having the same issue!

    Babaosa, I have given up on the watching the weights and getting worried or stressed I have come to realize exactly what Sue said... and I just know that I am eating POP and it will all work out so stalls or fluxes don't stress me out anymore, I think its much better that way... that being said... YAY for a down swing lol...

  • Basbosa... Just a minor backtrack... WATER! it will whoosh.. and I believe that our bodies have to have just enough calories to lose weight and not hang onto the fat thinking it is being starved

    Happyy Friday all! I am going to Disney for an overnight tomorrow and have to stay away from the sweets (love the confections there YIKES and of course its the eat and drink time of year at Epcot.. .. but I will have only 1 MARGARITA... my friends are doing the Tequila bar.. NOT me.. toooooooo expensive and I want to enjoy the rides and walk!)

    I also had a whoosh HOORAY! I like shedding water... My feet feel better! LOL
