Favorite Nutrition Tracker?

  • Hi all,

For those of you tracking your food, what's your favorite online program or app? I prefer something flexible yet fast & simple.

    What's working for you? Thanks!
  • I use LoseIt. I've been using it for years which is probably why I never switched. It would be too much of a hassle to reload my custom foods and recipes into a different app. I like that you can customize foods and recipes. If you use the app on your phone you can also scan barcodes. It allows you to track carbs, fats, sodium, etc. as well as calories. You can also track your exercise calories burned. The one thing that I don't like is that you can't input future meals unless you purchase the premium plan.
  • Thanks, Joyce, I'll check it out.
  • I use LoseIt too. The scanner is handy although Myfitnesspal has one now too. I used to use that one but I like LoseIt better. More user friendly and quick.
  • i love myfitnesspal and use it daily.
  • I've only used MyFitnessPal. I like it, it does what I need it to do.
  • LoseIt and MyFitnessPal seem to be the most popular. I'll check them both out and see which one seems most intuitive. If it's not convenient, I won't use it.

    Thanks for your feedback!
  • Okay, I checked out LoseIt and MyFitnessPal. They both look awesome, and I was leaning toward LoseIt for the simplicity. But it doesn't track some of the things I'd like without upgrading to the paid version. Rats!

So ultimately, I chose MyFitnessPal and think it's pretty awesome, too.
