  • Thanks for mentioning back bacon, Lindsay. I cannot eat turkey bacon. I've found a "real" bacon that's just a couple of grams higher and was going to try that. I hadn't thought of back bacon. The store where I shop has a good butcher, so I'll ask.
  • Friday Phase 1
    B: greek yogurt with sunflower seeds
    L: madras lentils/cucumbers/red pepper strips
    S: cafe au lait
    D: not sure yet. It might be off plan.
  • Forgot to log yesterday:
    B: Ham & Cheese Egg Scramble
    S: Middle Eastern Tomato Salad
    L: Salmon, Green Beans
    S: Couple of pieces of turkey pepperoni
    D: 93% lean burger patty, 2 slices turkey bacon, couple peices of turkey pepperoni with melted FF pepperjack cheese, collard greens with black eye peas.

    And today:

    B: Slice of turkey ham steak, one egg, 2 tbs ff shredded cheddar cheese
    S: Handful cherry tomatoes
    L: Leftover collard greens with black eye peas
    S: Deli turkey slices, 2 turkey pepperoni, light mayo lettuce wrap
    D: Not sure yet... lol, chicken something

    So far I feel pretty good. Yesterday was a little sketchy in the afternoon - work crazy, wanting to unwind with some wine and pasta lol but I made it through! And I was rewarded with a 6LB loss this week I feel like that is a lot, but I know the first couple of weeks do that to you
  • Pnase 1, Day 6

    Breakfast: Greek yogurt (I was starving by lunchtime)
    Lunch: salmon filet, spinach and mushroom soup, side salad
    Snack: hummus and celery sticks
    Dinner: sausage and mixed vegetables
