  • For our next group challenge / accountability thread, let's focus on the period between Independence Day & Labor Day (9/1). That's 8 weeks + 2 days for good measure!

    Add your accountability goals, weight goals, whatever keeps your head in the game. On 9/1 we can celebrate our hard work with a healthier mind and body!
  • Ok I am totally in on this one, I am having a luau for the fourth and KNOW I will fall between the two days of prep work and the party with food and drinks and leftovers on the weekend, so I will report in Monday morning with my starting weight and goal.... yay this will be an awesome way to get back on track and be accountable. Also I just got a new puppy that is HIGH energy and needs walking daily so I can get my exercise in..... I'm excited lets do this!!! :c arrot:
  • I'm in. My weight goal will be 225. Not sure about in secondard goals at the moment, but I'll post them when I decide.
  • Sue - I'm in!! Focusing on that 160 number and goal! I think I have settled at this weight for quite a while and it is time to move on...next week I'm asking the dr to take me off my prednisone so we shall see!! I'm hopeful to get rid of the last pounds...it's a journey!!! Best wishes for an on-plan day!!
  • I am in! I think my goal will be 215 which is 12 pounds. I am hoping my stall at 220 may skip itself this time since I was stuck at 240 so long.
  • I'm in too! I am already doing this challenge with some friends from work, so it should be fun to see what yall are up to.
  • Welcome all! May our journey over these 8+ weeks be easy, and FUN! LOL.. Oh I so wanted to say 199... but that is more than I can get (after my backslide).. so my goal will be 205! and that is a EYE Opener for me!

    I bet we all do really well this challenge! As the more we lose now will mean less we HAVE to lose during the holidays that will be right around the corner after 9/1!
  • This sounds exactly what I need---a challenge and accountability with a group so I am in!!

    I want to lose 2 lbs a week on average so over the 8 weeks that is 16 pounds! Which would put me at 194---what a great feeling that would be----and my clothes would fix better or down a size!!

    I would like to join and hold myself accountable to stay on track, and eat healthy. I have been losing and regaining the same pounds over and over again. I want to lose new pounds and keep all of the pounds off. I want to drink more water, and be happy!

    I am using today's weight as the official SW for the challenge. I have a feeling that this weekend may include BBQ and alcohol. Both done keto friendly but still will cause water retention

  • Even though I am not 100% Atkins, may I join you? I always enjoy you ladies!

    I have a BIG trip planned 9/5-9/19 to Finland; visiting family and sight seeing Helsinki with my hubby.

    This is a big deal for me. Last time I was over 170 pounds, so far I have lost nearly 30 pounds, but I would like to squeeze another 10 pounds. These next 10 pounds would make a huge difference how I would look. They are kinda like the "last" 10 pounds; the hardest to lose.

    So my goal is to lose 11.8 pounds before my trip, which is just about right after Labor Day.

    I follow 5:2 plan. Fast days are Mondays and Wednesdays and then the rest of the days I follow high protein and high veggie plan, close to Atkins plan (it may be even Atkins approved ). So I kinda mix things up a bit.

    Sum: A vacation to Finland is a nice pot of goal at the end of the Challenge. I am trying to think of something extra to reward myself for sticking with the challenge.

    I had been regaining pounds that I loss, but today the regaining ends, and the losing begin!
