Cracking skin on feet..

  • I've tried the pedi egg and lotions.. but it's giving me the results I am looking for. I've heard of "foot peels".. do they work? I want nail salon results at home..
  • Don't know about for peels but I use "miracle heel stick". Stuff is awesome. My cracks would get so deep, they were like painful cuts. Bought it at walgreens
  • I've got this same problem in the summer. The winter is fine but summer is terrible. I use a pumice stone in the shower every day and apply lotion afterwards and at night before I go to sleep. I still need something stronger though.
  • Do you go barefoot a lot? I found my feet improved when I wore socks and shoes indoors more often.

I do splurge on pedicures, though. This pretty much began when I looked for ways to reward myself that didn't involve food. And also when I started attending a pilates class in which exercises are performed barefoot, and the instructor walked around jokingly saying: "I'm doing a pedicure inspection." To me, that was no joke.
  • I know this sounds a bit odd, but soak your feet in warm water with apple cider vinegar for at least a half hour. Then wipe your feet off with a damp towel. This will help slough away dead skin and make your feet look great.

Follow with putting some cocoa butter or intensive moisture lotion on your feet and stick them in some socks overnight.
  • Socks are great... in the winter. But in may I take off socks and only wear them when I work out in my sneakers behind isn't often on tr summer, I mostly swim and do barefoot activities. Just the thought of going to bed in socks in the summer makes me feel constricted.
