Starting Phase II - Need Help

  • I have completed Phase I and I have had success, the problem is, I am at the point where I get sick to my stomach thinking of eating the foods that I have been eating during Phase I. Maybe I need more variety.

Here is the plan I have been following most days:

B - 2 egg quiche muffins, V8 juice, string cheese
    S - peanuts
L - Salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, black beans and sliced deli meat, and dressing (whatever I have with me)
    S - Celery & peanut butter
D - grilled meat of some sort, sautéed veggies

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks, - Amy
  • islandgirl I agree you need variety. I would be sick to my stomach if I are the same things day in and day out. Check out the recipe section you might get some ideas. I cook big and freeze so there is something on hand.
  • There are several threads which discuss P2 and the transition. Look for Frequently Asked Questions under the recipes section.

I like the variety of P2 but still limit my grains. We are all different and this is when you start to find out how your body responds to certain foods, as well as finding a food routine that works for you. Lots of Beachers ditch eggs in the morning and have leftovers instead. That's perfectly acceptable. Over the years I've perfected a morning green smoothie which I never deviate from and so we often enjoy a "breakfast" type dinner. Best wishes!
