My first mini-mini goal

  • I've gone my whole life overweight, and this is the week I start doing something about it.

    This week I will NOT; drink pop, eat fast food, watch more than one hour of TV a day, have desserts, or eat any junk food.

    This week I WILL; walk at least one hour a day, cook all of my meals, include veggies, park farther away from the door at work and while shopping, and not be so down on myself.

    Gonna be a rough week.

  • Five days in and going strong. I don't know if it's psychological, but I feel so much better this week. I've been walking a ton, which I've never really done before, and it feels great.

    I have to say though, the first three days without pop was a killer. I used to drink so much coke it was ridiculous. I think the caffeine withdraws were what was the worst. I switched to a caffeinated tea though, without sugar, and that's been helping. Now If I can just make it through until Sunday I'll have a new mini-goal to set up. Gonna start counting calories, and charting new exercise routine.

    I feel like I should be seeing results soon.

  • Hi everyone just started again. My first mini goal is to get to 250. I'm at 281 right now. On this three day holiday weekend it's been so hard to control myself. Today is Memorial Day and of course it's an eating day everyone wanting BBQ etc. and I have to cook it for 4 teens, hubby, mil too. Yesterday I cheated really bad. I'm praying I can get thru today.   • Finally feel ready
    Like a lot of you I've struggled and up n down the scale I went. For some reason I feel I'm at a place now that I want this more than ever. I am serious now and see things different than before. Doing low carb . My first mini goal is to get to 250 so I need to lose/release 31 lbs.

    I'm middle aged and it's hard but I'm aimed to do it this time!
