    want2b, started listening to the Beck book today... so far I like it.. she doesn't care what plan you are on... its more about the psychology and 'self talk' when you are trying to lose weight... I think it will be a good 'listen'

  • Awake before 6:00am. Can you tell that I am anticipating my Phase 3 meeting? More excited/nervous than my first IP consult.

    Need to run the roads today. Lots of errands to do.

    Slipfree- Don't worry! You're going to rock P3 and maintenance! Hopefully the meeting will set your apprehension at ease! Let us know how it goes and please share any tidbits you felt were really helpful.

    Hiker- Ahh! You're so close to 80 lbs! I bet you'll hit the milestone tomorrow. Drink lots of water and avoid the crisps. Those darned, tasty things always make me retain water and give me the big C which slows down the scale temporarily. I do keep a box in my cupboard for salty cravings because it's better than cheating and the issues they cause are just annoying and temporary. I'm so happy for you and your accomplishment! 80 lbs is a major feat!

    Phase 3 tip- Fatsecret.com for figuring out the percentages/grams. They give you a worksheet and suggestions. We walked through a menu and used the Fatsecret web site. Then I went to the health food store. First phase 3 breakfast down. Glad that I planned it for the weekend, because it helped with C immediately.
  • A good day. Phase 3-day 1 was a success. All of my errands are done. Hoping for sun and warmth soon.

  • It was yummy! Nice to have more variety. I have not had anything other than phase 1 or IP foods for the past 7 months so it is a huge change. The formula is interesting and takes a little figuring out.

    We had a great visit! She was quite interested in reading the Beck Diet Solution... We all know how to lose weight but there's a lot of mind games that go on in our heads and we all have to figure out how to motivate ourselves to either stay on plan or get right back on plan.... our brains our complicated things!!

    I decided to definitely stay on IP for June...my life is just too crazy to try and figure out phasing off.... phase one is pretty simple... I think it will be easier to follow than trying to figure out the breakfasts etc... especially since I will be in Hotels, friend's houses, two weddings and camping all in one month! Hopefully I'll be so close to goal by the end of the month I'll be able to stick it out to 150 (149?LOL)
