Also, just eyeballing the portions will probably work for you at first but if you're getting more/less of your veggies and protein you will likely stall your weight loss at some point.
Honestly, I didn't get to be 100+ pounds overweight by exercising great portion control. I think that's one of the best things I've learned on IP - what an actual serving looks like.

I measure EVERYTHING, because I had absolutely no portion control before this!
Now that I've been measuring all my food for a month and half, I'm ALMOST able to eyeball things... but I don't, because I want to make sure I'm eating the right portions - no more, no less.
I would measure just to be on the safe side... measuring cups, spoons, and scales are our friends!
