First Weigh in and NERVOUS

  • I go to my first weigh in with my coach on Wednesday and I'm nervous. I have a scale at home but I'm scared to step on...What if I haven't lost? What if it's only like 2lbs? I've tried SOOO hard this week. I've had 2 little cheats but in the big scheme of things, they were nothing.

I'm feeling tired and sluggish like I'm not getting enough to eat...

What was everyone else's first week like?

I had absolutely no cheats at all my first week and I lost 3.6 lbs...thought it was 2.2 but did the math incorrectly. The best advice I have gotten from others on this program is that we all lose weight at different rates and none of our bodies are the same. As long is the scale is going down, you're good. Our weight loss journey is not a linear one, there will be weeks with no loss etc. Just stick to the program...that's what I'm doing at least.
  • My first week was the hardest. After week one, I figured out that the more I prepped for the week in advance the easier it would be. Make it as easy for you as you can... get rid of all the things in your fridge that are cheats. Stock your house with food that is on diet. If you cheat, cheat with allowed foods. But don't go overboard. Get your meal plan together. Don't cheat and stick to the diet as much as you can.

In retrospect the first day was harder than the second and the second was harder than the third... as you go it gets easier. Let your momentum build and your success accumulate. Before you know it you'll be a month in and you'll never look back. Keep focused.
  • yummermummer how did you do?
